We're Moving...

The good news is.....We're moving to Colorado Springs. :)

The bad news is....we're leaving Utah, and moving to Colorado Springs :(

I know change is a good thing, and I am looking forward to the next chapter in our life together, but I have lived in Utah for 9 years now, and have loved every minute of it. I have met some amazing people and made some of my closest friends....not to mention how much I love having family here. It's never easy to leave those you love, and I keep crying whenever I think about it, but then I try to focus on the new life ahead of us and know we are going in the right direction.

Brandon got accepted to the Radiology Program we were hoping for, and we have to be there by the 10th of July - so that gives me approximately 4 weeks to get our life in order, pack and find a house, amongst a myriad of a million other things. But I know it'll all work out.

Just thought I'd share the news! It's not often you feel like you have real legitimate news in your life between "I'm getting married", and "we're having a baby".....but this counts, so I'm going to milk it for all it's worth. (I know I just said baby and milk in the same sentence, but just to set the records straight....this is not an announcement about a baby....it is an announcement about moving!).

I know Brandon and I will be happy wherever we are as long as we're together! (pause here to recover from super cheesy moment!)

So if any one has any sweet tips on where to live in Colorado Springs, or what fun things to do....we'd love to hear them!

Yay! That is exciting! Where is the school at in the springs? We lived in the springs for a summer right by cheyenne mountain and it was so beautiful. Of course, you have to go to the cheyenne mountain zoo. We went to Canon city and went rafting down the royal gorge as well. That is so exciting. Maybe we will get to see you guys because we are only in Castle Rock, not that far.

CONGRATULATIONS BRANDON! I also can't believe I'm finding this out from your blog! Although part of it's my fault, I should be calling you more often to keep in touch (I'll call soon). I'm so happy for you two.
Didn't we visit Colorado Springs when I came with you to Colorado and visit that sweet resort? Anyway, best wishes on your new journey. I'm sad you won't be in Utah anymore when we visit:(

You're absolutely right, it will be an amazing experience, though I'll miss you dreadfully. I've loved living close to you for so long - it's been wonderful. But I'm also so excited for you both and can't wait to come visit you!

Titus and Jim will miss you too. :)

Oh Arianne! I am so excited for you guys! Congratulations to Brandon for getting accepted! When we moved to Chicago, I was surprised that I was so sad to leave behind Utah. I guess I felt like it was an end of an era. But we are kind of in a new era (Oh, now did I just say "New Era") here and are loving it too. I am so excited for you guys!
